I wonder if this is the same root issue that Rare had with DK64?? This is running an updated engine of DK64, right? Maybe Rare figured out an obscure workaround so that the expansion pack wasn't required for Conker... Just a thought. I could be way off here as I'm not a programmer.

Thankyou VGE for this miniseries and bringing enough attention to it for this to finally happen and thank-you to the legend who patched it, funny thing is it's my Birthday tomorrow, so I get to play my favourite game of all time (with the exception of OOT) in 480p on my BVM with real hardware with zero lag and a proper N64 controller, not to mention in quad stereo, I'm proper excited to play it, thanks again VGE & co for your hard work. PS. Maybe JFG can also be updated with expansion pack ability.

Awesome news, but I still think Conker’s humor is over-rated, cringe, and decidedly IMmature, even as a long-time owner who bought this new in the store. Someone at Rare actually thought “Eat lead, mother buzzer!” was cool. Ugh.

YES I'm so happy about this, CBFD to me was the biggest miss with incompatible games on the N64 core, but no longer!!

Now that's a great fix. Super simple, elegant, and (in hindsight) almost obvious.

Tested for at least 2 hours with the patch before the actual announcement. Most of the chapters (with a complete save) were launched and played for 5-10 mminutes each. No crash at all anymore.

God bless smart people. They really make life better for dummies like me.

Does the Neo Geo core support 2P? On MAME, I can get the option to play a 2P game after adding two coins, but it never seems to be an option on Mister. Do you know why that is?

Is there an online database that gives a list of known locations by arcade cabinet? If not I think that would be huge in the community. People can go online and tag where they’ve found working cabinets and time stamp them.

Metal Slug 7 is the only game I'd call terrible because it is just pure enemy spam. The other games are basically just the same thing six times over with 3 being better than the rest and 4 and 5 being a bit worse.

This and Zero Gunner remind me of those days where both games made me think that Psikyo made their own 3D arcade hardware that had no way to emulate other than MAME until I found that fortunately, both games ran on a more familiar hardware (Model 2) that doesn't need MAME to be emulated, instead, there's a dedicated emulator that runs the games like a dream (Nebula M2), including Psikyo's Pre-NAOMI 3D games

I love how Psiyko makes you feel so bad in many of their games for choosing easier difficulties! They'll be like "Normal", "Child", "Monkey"! 🐒

Outside of convience it's not bring much to the table considering the number the dreamcasts out there and just how modded they can be from the power supplies to the gdemu. It's seems like a lot of effort that would be better placed in devolpment for different cores.

I do remember this game nearby in the arcade in my village. What is incredible is that the game was available in the same year when the game came out. The bad thing the game didn't take long after being removed 1 week later. The reason...no one was playing that game. :( I was the only one who was playing. Now the fun fact: - Even if the title screen says '1998', Pilot Kids was released in March 1999. - An enemy character that appears on Stage 6 is a homage to Bruce Lee.
